چکیده
In this research, the CRDI engine characteristics were analyzed with aid of exhaust gas recirculation rate (EGR) adoption fueled ethanol blends. The test fuels various blends ethanol, such as (10% + 90% diesel) E10D90 (20% 80% diesel), E20D80, and (30% 70% E30D70. From results, it was revealed that performance reduced when using a higher concentration alcohols mixed diesel fuel. blend E30D70 showed brake thermal efficiency (BTE) without EGR drops by 3.8%, increased 9.14% BSFC, 9.25% decrease in oxides nitrogen emissions, slightly decreased CO HC emissions compared to baseline operation at 60% load condition. 20% shows highest BTE 8.87% base fuel, due proper fuel mixture taking place inlet manifold. results indicate runs smoothly, has chosen an optimum blend. A further experiment performed different rates system. addition common rail exhibits emission, but contrast, noticed have inferior drastically emissions. hydrocarbon emission E10D90, condition 21.42%, 37.38%, 48.76%, respectively. carbon dioxide 7.9%, 30.08%, 31.98%, maximum reduction NOx observed about 51.06%

Effect of EGR on Performance and Emission Characteristics of Natural Gas Fueled Diesel Engine
In diesel engines, it is difficult to reduce both smoke and NOx simultaneously. An experimental study was conducted to determine the performance and exhaust emission characteristics of a commercial single cylinder, natural aspirated, air cooled DI diesel engine. The system was modified to work on either dual fuel or diesel alone. The objective of this work is to investigate the possibility of d...
متن کاملEmission Characteristics of a Diesel Engine fueled with Diesel-biodiesel-JP-4 Blends
The main objective of this research is to study the effects of JP-4-biodiesel-diesel fuel blends and operating parameters on the emission characteristics of a CI engine. The experimental tests were performed on a four-cylinder DI diesel engine. The Mixture-RSM method was used to develop mathematical models based on experimental data. The results showed that with the increase of the biodiesel pr...
متن کاملPerformance and Emission Characteristics of Diesel Engine Fueled with Ethanol-Diesel Blends in Different Altitude Regions
In order to investigate the effects ethanol-diesel blends and altitude on the performance and emissions of diesel engine, the comparative experiments were carried out on the bench of turbo-charged diesel engine fueled with pure diesel (as prototype) and ethanol-diesel blends (E10, E15, E20 and E30) under different atmospheric pressures (81 kPa, 90 kPa and 100 kPa). The experimental results indi...
متن کاملPerformance and Emissions of a Tractor engine operating on biodiesel-diesel blends with EGR
The influences of different diesel/biodiesel blends and EGR rate on brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC), exhaust gas temperature, NO, HC, CO emissions, are studied and demonstrated. In this paper a four stroke direct injection, water cooled, diesel engine was used. Biodiesel either in neat form or as a blend with diesel fuel is extensively investigated to solve the twin problem of reduction ...
